Diploma in Education (D. Ed) is not a degree level course. Further, IGNOU may be the best option for you for BA programme. The eligibility criteria is as under. BA Eligibility : The University admits students to it's Bachelor's Degree Programme from both formal and non-formal scheme. The non-formal stream consists of those students who have not cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam. To take admission to IGNOUs degree programme they have to pass its Bachelors Preparatory Programme (BPP) first. So, you have to pass BPP programme first for BA.

As per the eligibility criteria of D.Ed. The applicant must have passed class 12th in any subject. Hence, on the basis of Engineering Diploma course you are not eligible for D.Ed course.
