D.Ed Course is technically an elementary teacher training course. Diploma in Education is similar to D. El. Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education), JBT, D. T. Ed. (Diploma in Teachers Education) and ETT (Elementary Teacher Training) courses.

You can go for B.Ed after your B.Com. Benefits of doing B.Ed are that you can work as: Secondary school teachers, Educational Counsellors, Educational Entrepreneurs, School Administrators, Freelancers, Free Lance Trainers, Instructional Designers etc.

Candidates who are interested to pursue D.Ed through distance mode should have completed their 12th standard with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board. The duration of the course is minimum 2 years and maximum 6 years. The fees for this course ranges from Rs. 12,000 and it may vary depending upon different institutes. Regards.

You can get admission. The minimum qualification to apply for it is a pass with 50% in 10+2 with Science or arts group. The aspirants are required to have an aggregate of 50% in some institutions.

Yes, you can pursue both the courses simultaneously, but just make sure the mode of the student should be different.

I have the view that two degrees cannot be done at the same time in regular mode. As far as, the Distance Mode is concerned, you may get this option, because one is a course of IGNOU.
