Admission Process
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT Administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with At least 50% marks in the Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.

1. District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Lakhimpur (Azad): The intake for the D. El. Ed. Course is 100.
2. Dhakuakhana Normal School: The intake capacity for the D. El. Ed. Course is 50.
3. Basic Training Center, Azad: Its intake is also 50 students per batch. To gain admission to these government-recognised institutions, you must take the SCERT Pre-Entry Test.
