Yes, if your interest lies in the field of teaching then you must go for it and make sure that you must have secured an aggregate of 50% in your class 12th examination from any recognised board. Though eligibility criteria differ from college to college you are applying for.

No, D. El. Ed is not compulsory, if you had completed B.Ed. The B.Ed. Degree course is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools. Thanks.
