You have to apply online on the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, to pursue a degree in pharmacy from Appasaheb Birnale College of Pharmacy, Sangli. Appasaheb College offers a two-year Diploma in pharmacy to students who have completed the 12th grade. The application process for this academic session (2022-2023) is as follows:
1. Registrations are open up to October 7, 2022.
2. Go to the official website of Appasaheb Birnale College of Pharmacy.
3. Click the "Admission" tab on the website.
4. Click "Admission Notice" and choose D Pharmacy.
5. Select "First Year of Post HSC Diploma Technical Course in Pharmacy" and you will SEE a link to the official website of DTE.
6. Now click on that link and you will be directed to the DTE website, where you will SEE the option of "new registration. "
Select it and fill in the required details to apply for this course.

Actually, both are best depending upon student interest, a Diploma in pharmacy students can work as a pharmacist in clinics or government hospitals or even start their own pharmacy. If not interested can do further higher studies for placement in the pharmaceutical industry or working in R&D, this kind of job can pay high salaries. On other hand studying for B.Sc. can work in an executive role in life Science and biotech companies, want high salaries in the same field needs multiple degrees and skills that can only decide the job position and salary. In the current situation in India, a single degree can't pay a high salary until starting their own company with interesting ideas and strategies. So don't compare a course, think about what you want in the future.

Yes, you can opt for Pharma. D after D.Pharma but you will have to choose among the two options:
1. Either enroll in a Bachelors degree in 2nd year directly after D.Pharma and then get enrolled in Pharma. D for PG. This will take 6 years (3 B.Pharma + 3 Pharma. D PG)
2. Better option is to get enrolled completely in a Pharma. D course from the start itself. This course is of 6 years including one year hospital internship (preferable). The syllabus for B.Pharma and Pharma. D UG are similar but Pharma. D syllabus is more concentrated on the clinical aspect of pharmacy. So it is better if a person is interested in Pharma. D then he should opt for it directly rather than doing B.Pharma.
