I think I'll pick engineering because I have a bit more interest in that field. And I'm not sure if the college (Northeastern University) I'm considering would allow a double major. The primary reason I'm considering pharmacy is because it has a higher starting salary than engineering. But I hope that starting salary won't matter much a few years later because my goal is to go into I-banking or maybe start a business.

Hi Rail,
Here is the eligibility criteria to pursue D.Pharmacy:
1. Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December 2018.
2. Pass in plus two examination with 50% in physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects along with mathematics or biology.
3. Pass in D.Pharma course from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
4. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. As you do not fit any of the above criteria, you cannot apply for this course.

The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognised educational Board. Admission to the course is based on the candidates' performance in a relevant entrance exam, or merit obtained in the last qualifying exam.
