Definitely, one can pursue B Pharma after completing D Pharma. The process is slightly different in terms that once a candidate completes a D Pharma, instead of taking admission to B Pharma directly and starting from the first year, the candidate can take admission to lateral entry. In this case, the candidate has to take admission in 2nd year and then the B Pharma shall be of three-year duration. This is a popular method of pursuing a B Pharma, wherein the candidates wish to expand their knowledge base as well as pursue a higher degree in Pharmacy.

No, candidates cannot pursue D Pharma if they are from the Commerce stream. In India, most D Pharma programs require candidates to have a Science background with specific subjects at the Class 12 level, including Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics. As a Commerce student, candidates may not meet the typical eligibility criteria for D Pharma admission since they would not have studied the necessary Science subjects.
