B.Tech. Dairy Technology Eligibility
The diploma and degree courses in dairy technology require candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination, with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English or Physics, chemistry, Biology or Agriculture with a minimum aggregate of 50 % marks.
In most of the States the admission is made based on entrance test common to other agricultural and animal science courses.

In dairy science colleges, admission is based on
entrance exams like JEE Mains, and state-level entrance exams. The eligibility criteria is that you must pass your 10+2 with science stream with an aggregate of 55% and more.

Yes, biology students can choose dairy technology as a career after 12th. Dairy technology is a structured and organized course wherein the aspirant can enter at various levels like diploma, graduation, post graduation and doctoral ones. For entering into the diploma and graduation courses, the aspirant should have cleared higher secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. In most of the colleges, the minimum passing percentage required is 50%. Degree courses can generally be searched as B.Tech / B.Sc.
