Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET in Dance subject but make sure your university or college is UGC NET approved. There are some other UGC NET eligibility criteria which you need to qualify to appear in the exam. Check it from below https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-net-exam-eligibility click here. The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33 years LLM graduates), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor. If you believe in yourself that you can score good in NEET/AIIMS exam in the next attempt, then you can take a year drop. Also, ask yourself whether you want to become this or not. Ask yourself whether dance is your hobby or passion. If passion, you should practice hard and give your best in it. Don't live a life in which you can't be happy.
