To pursue a Master of Data Science course at RMIT University, students must have:An Australian bachelor’s degree in Computing, Science, Engineering, Health or Statistics with a good GPA of minimum 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent ORStudents can also be considered if they have an Australian bachelor’s degree with a GPA of minimum 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent andRelevant completed courses in Programming and Statistics in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a minimum three years’ of current, relevant work experience or professional practice as a Statistician, Programmer or equivalentApart from the above-given academic requirements, international students are required to submit English language proficiency test scores. They can submit the scores of IELTS  (6.5 overall) / TOEFL  (79 overall) / PTE Academic  (58) / Cambridge English (Minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component).

Below are the requirements for Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (or have done work equivalent to that required for such a degree)Applicant must have at least a 2.75 (on a 4.00 scale) undergraduate GPA.Subjects Required: Mathematics: Applicants should be familiar with differential calculus (including derivatives), integral calculus, linear algebra, and have some experience with infinite sequences and series. Multivariate calculus is preferred but not required. Programming: Applicants should have some programming experience, whether it is formal, informal or on the job. Some advanced knowledge of R is also helpful before starting the program. Strong applicants will have an Undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher on 4.0 scale.
