It basically depends on from which pool do you belong. If you are an U.T. Pool Student then the cut-off is relatively low but if you are an outside U.T. Pool Student then you must have a good XII Merit in order to secure admission. The seats for the students belonging to U.T. Pool is kept reserved at 85% and that for the Outside U.T. Pool students is kept reserved only at 15%. That means if a college under P.U. has 120 seats, then 102 seats will be kept only for U.T. Students and 18 seats will be kept for Outside U.T. It is difficult to say whether you will get admission in DAV College Chandigarh for BCA with a score of 55 in CBSE board.
