DAV College (DAVC) was established in the year 2005 in Chandigarh. The college is affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh. DAV, Chandigarh offers B.A. B.Com B.Sc. BBA BCA B.Voc. The candidates in both these courses are selected on the basis of merit only. For M.A. The candidates must possess a graduate degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science with minimum 40% marks. Selection criterion depends upon the academic merit along with the Written & Oral Aptitude Test conducted by the concerned department of the University. M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Mathematics requires a graduate (Hons. /General) degree in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks. Selection is based on the score of PU-CET (PG) conducted by PU. Admission in PG Diploma courses requires candidates to have secured a Bachelors degree in any stream from any recognised University/ Institution. The candidates are selected on the spot on the basis of first-come-first-served.
