GM University Davangere selects candidates for BCom programme based on the merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Besides, candidates also need to pass Class 12 or PUC examination or PUC-II in Science, Arts or Commerce with at least 35% aggregate for admission to BCom programme.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or pre-university exam are eligible to apply for BCom course offered at GM University Davangere. Aspirants who have completed PUC-II in Science, Arts or Commerce with at least 35% aggregate can also apply for the BCom programme. A candidate who has passed JODC / three year Diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission.

The goverment has started the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K Students to pursue UG studies outside the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Students meeting the criteria can apply for the scholarship.

Yes, GM University Davangere conducts GMUSET for admission to MBA, BCom LLB, BA LLB, LLB and DPharm courses. Besides, the university also considers KCET score for BTech, BPharm and DPharm, Karnataka PGCET for MBA and MCA programmes. GATE and PGCET is considers for M.Tech course.
