The Karnataka DCET examination is conducted for admission to 2nd or 3rd-semester engineering under lateral courses, and its scorecard is valid for only the current year. This course is based on some professional experience also so if you have a professional experience then you can go for 2nd year otherwise if basics are not clear then start from the 1st year.
