DDU GKP is one of the well known university in the area. The tution fee of DDU ranges between Rs 9,000 to  14,000 per annum, and for the same  the University of Lucknow charges fees ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000. The annual cost of the DDU GKP hostel, including mess fees, ranges from Rs 16,000 to Rs 24,000. The annual cost of the hostel facility at Lucknow University is ranging between Rs 12,000 and Rs 16,000 with additional mess charges. As Compared to Gorakhpur, Lucknow is a bigger city so the food, lodging, and transportation are more expensive there and at DDU Gorakhpur University, total costs are projected to ranges between Rs 35,000 to Rs 50,000 per annum.The estimated total annual cost for University of Lucknow is between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. DDU Gorakhpur University is probably a little more expensive than University of Lucknow in terms of total tuition and living costs.
