During the personal interview, the purpose is to evaluate the design aptitude of the applicant. Further, the candidate's skills in Sketching, Visualization, Creativity, and Sense of understanding & solving problems will also be evaluated. The candidates must present a Work Portfolio (Portfolio of their work) to the panel of the selection jury during the Personal Interview. To be considered for admission to the BDes program, the candidate’s age should not exceed 22 years as of 31st July in the year of application. In case of the MDes program, the applicants should be more than 20 years of age and less than or equal to 25 years of age as of 31st July of the year of applying. Candidates will be considered for admission to the design courses on the basis of DEED 2025 scores.Note that if the candidate doesn't meet the prescribed eligibility, his or her candidature could be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.

You will have to visit the official website of DJ Academy of Design in order to register. Candidates can click on the ‘Admissions’ link.In the registration form that opens, enter details like name, email ID and phone number. On registration, you have to fill out the rest of the application form.Upload documents and finally pay the application fee to complete the process.

The DEED application form is open for the current session. The application form is open online at the DEED 2025 admission portal. Candidates who want to apply for admission will have to register, apply and pay the application fee in order to appear in the entrance exam.Applications submitted via offline mode will not be accepted. Also, make sure that applications are submitted before the last date.

Candidates should have passed class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with aggregate 50% marks for taking admission in Bachelor of Design course. For Master of Design course candidates should have Bachelor degree in any stream with aggregate 50% marks. Candidates appearing in last semester of their Bachelor degree can also apply. The candidate needs to ensure their eligibility before filling out the application form.

The DJ Academy of Design, Coimbatore, offers admission to both BDes and MDes courses. Popluar specializations to pick from inlcude Industrial Design and Communication Design. Admission to these courses will be through the DEED 2025 merit rank. During the allotment of seats, higher ranked candidates will be given preference.
