A relatively newer university in Uttar Pradesh, DDU Gorakhpur University was founded in the 1970s. In eastern UP, it has a lengthy history.It has a "A" grade accreditation from NAAC and is acknowledged by UGC. Thus, its educational standards are respectable.Nonetheless, DDU GKP is not ranked particularly highly in national rankings such as NIRF.
