There are four different levels of college degrees namely: the associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree (PhD). The degree is usually pursued from a college or university and lays the foundation for a comprehensive learning on the subject chosen by the student. Master's Degree: A master's degree is a graduate degree that usually lasts from 1-2 years, depending on the college and course you choose. Doctoral Degree: It is the highest level of academic education/degree that lasts from 6-7 years and requires comprehensive research work. The PhD degree concludes with a dissertation which is often analysed by a committee of members.

Yes, as a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student, you may still be eligible for a degree in Computer Science, but it depends on the college or university's admission criteria. Many institutions require Mathematics as a compulsory subject for Computer Science courses, especially for B.Tech or B.Sc Computer Science programs.  some universities and colleges offer Computer Science degrees where Mathematics at the 12th level is not mandatory. These could include specialised B.Sc programs, integrated courses, or diploma-to-degree pathways. You'll need to check the specific eligibility requirements of the institution you are applying to.  If you haven't studied Mathematics in 12th grade but wish to pursue Computer Science, you might consider bridging courses or diplomas to build your foundational skills in math and programming.
