Delhi pharmaceutical sciences and research is an institution located in New Delhi, it's providing teaching and research in pharmaceutical sciences. University offers both Undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.pharm D.pharm, Bachelors in physiotherapy, Diploma in medical technology etc. The quality of placements is good, the highest salary package offered is from 9LPA to 10LPA and average salary package offered is 4LPA. Top recuriting companies like Mankind, cipla, Abbott, Dr.reddys Laboratories, Elililly, Zydus etc. visit college for placements.The roles offered are ecective manager, research education consultant, apprentice medical coder etc.

The university has not released the placement report for the year 2023. During the DPSRY placement drive 2022, more than 20 companies visited the campus. A total of 49 students were placed in top companies such as Dr. Reddy’s, PharmaAce, ZS Associates among others. Students were offered multiple roles such as Research, Pharmacovigilance, Analytics, Consulting, Ed-Tech, Marketing, Business Consulting, And HRM in Addition to the Core Pharmacist Profiles. In the year 2022, the university observed offers coming from non-technical organisations. The company offered a salary package in the range of INR 3 LPA to INR 12 LPA for PG course.Further, placement cell could secure summer internship for 45 first year students from MBA-Pharmaceutical Management and MBAPharma Economics & Trade with organizations namely Cognitrex Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Corona Remedies and Remedo Health.

The starting weeks on campus are extremely critical for all new students. It is during this time that you make critical decisions which will have an effect on the rest of your life. These are few basic tips which you can consider :-Attend the classes regularly. Atleast in your first year you must attend your classes. It will help to have good grades from the starting only. So, avoid that temptation of skipping your daily lectures.You must join any college society or organizations which suits your interests. The more you get involved in campus life, more connections you will make and learn new skills.Make a habit of going to the college library. There you’ll find plenty of sources for gaining precise knowledge on your subjects.Just Be Yourself. You will find friends who appreciate you for who you truly are. Don’t try to become like any other person.Be confident, don’t feel hesitant to try new things. College is the greatest opportunity you’ll ever have for your personal development.P.S.- Initial year of the college life is very crucial, you learn about new things, meet new people and do lots of fun activities. So enjoy it as much as you can but with a proper balance between social and academic happenings.

The hostel rooms are old but renovation work is being carried out from 2020 and rooms are well-equipped and properly ventilated. The mess is a problem though because no fixed tender is being alloted yet it keeps on changing due to which hostellers suffer sometimes but for that tiffin services are available which are at affordable cost. The registration process for hostels is basically based on the distance of your native place from the college. The more the distance the more convenient for you to get a hostel. Though the priority is given to non Delhi students first then if there are any vacant rooms students from Delhi are considered. Basic fees of 10000 are submitted at the time of registration out of which 5000 are security fees and for the mess, the charges were 2500 for 1 quarter of the year as of last year but things might change after the complete opening of the university. If you don't get a hostel you don't need to worry there are many PGs nearby the campus within 2-3 KM.Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year
