Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (SGTB Khalsa) and Ramjas College, both situated in the North Campus of the University of Delhi, are often considered to be on par with each other in terms of placement opportunities. SGTB Khalsa College had a gross package of Rs 9.2 Crores in 2021, with 228 job offers extended by 51 recruiters. Prominent recruiters included Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, KPMG, and PWC. In 2022, the college achieved a gross package of INR 8.10 Crores per annum, with the participation of 70+ recruiters and the issuance of 167+ job offers. On the other hand, Ramjas College reported that 127 students secured permanent job positions. The average package for these placements was 5.6 lakhs, while the highest package reached 19.25 lakhs. JNU boasts excellent research facilities and an excellent academic atmosphere.The DU cutoff is elevated. Compared to JNU, admittance to the institute is more competitive. Certainly, admission to Delhi University's B.Tech (Lateral Entry) programme requires appearing for CUET. It's important to note that not all B.Tech programs at DU offer lateral entry through CUET; this option is available for selected programs only. To be eligible for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) admission via CUET at DU, candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma exam in engineering or technology from a recognised university or institution with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).  Once the eligibility criteria are met, candidates can apply through DU's CUET system for the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) program. The application process is online, accessible through the DU website. After the application period closes, DU will release a shortlist of candidates. Those shortlisted will be invited to a counseling session where they can express their preferences for universities and programs. Seat allocation will be determined based on the candidate's CUET score and rank.
