Candidates can apply online for Mysore University admissions by visiting the official website. The selection process is both entrance and merit-based. If you have total 6 subjects and you pass in 5 and you fail in 1, as Accountancy in your case. You will be considered pass in 12th grade. But if you have total 5 subjects and you pass in 4 and fail in 1 you have to give compartment exam to clear your 12th standard and apply for college admission. Good luck.
