Written BDS placements at Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, Bharati Vidyapeeth are standard; many different job offers are available to graduates in the government and private sectors. The college has a separate placement cell that enable internships, placements and training in the college.Post their degree, the majority of BDS graduates successfully obtain employment in hospitals, dental clinics, research facilities and health care organizations. MDS placements in Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital are averagely placed. As the details regarding the MDS graduate placement data is not reported much, but the practical training and development of the skill are being focused at this college. The median salary would be INR 11.74 LPA, but direct placement supports to the recruiters and even placement rates to the students pursuing MDS are not reported that can be used as evidence of limited support. Students are also advised to take up internships and networking opportunities for enhancing their job prospects in the dental field.

The largest number of placement offers is traditionally provided by the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) branch of Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As per Nair Hospital Dental College NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during BDS  placements 2023 stood at INR 9.9 LPA. Further, a total of 42 students were placed and 9 students opted for higher studies out of total of 53 students during BDS placements in 2023. Earlier, according to the NIRF report 2022,  17 BDS students were placed during Nair Dental College placements 2021. The median package offered to BDS sudents was INR 65,000 per annum.

Generally, the MDS placements that were at Nair Hospital Dental College were somewhat adequate, roughly 50% of students had the chance of being selected, as per the student's feedback.
