DY Patil Dental College Pune's BDS and MDS placement rates for 2022 were 57% and 100%, respectively. The BDS median package that was offered in 2022 increased by more than 11% when compared to 2021. The BDS median package supplied in 2022 increased by more than 62% when compared to 2021. In 2022, the average BDS package was INR 4 LPA. There were 83 pupils placed in total. 46 students were placed for MDS in total that year, with a median package of INR 9 LPA. Over the last three years, there has been an upward trend in the median package provided.

Placement possibilities for BDS, MDS, and Dental Mechanics students at the graduate, postgraduate, and Diploma levels are provided by Dr. D Y Patil Dental College and Hospital. The University has, made the NIRF report 2023 available. The study states that during the 2022 placements, 161 MD/MS, 63 BDS, and 46 MDS students were placed. The median package for MDS and BDS courses was INR 9 LPA and INR 6.15 LPA, respectively. Publicis Sapient, Barclays, NielsenIQ, Tejas Network, Accolite Digital India Pvt. Ltd., TCS Digital, BNY Mellon, KPMG, and Bajaj Finserv are among the top recruiters at the university.

For the undergraduate BDS programme, Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital trains 100 students annually. The duration of BDS programme is 5 years. Central counselling will be handled by DGHS New Delhi, and admissions to the BDS programme will be based on the merit list determined by the candidates' performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2023 administered by National Testing Agency (NTA), Delhi.
