Candidates who have passed a BDS or an equivalent degree recognised by the Dental Council of India are eligible to apply for Yenepoya Dental College And Hospital, Mangalore MDS course. As per the official website, the selection for MDS is based on NEET MDS scores. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Candidates must have BDS degree/certificate, DGHS allotment letter, result/rank letter issued by NBEMS, etc.

BDS is the flagship course of Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital. As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during BDS 2023 stood at INR 6 LPA. Further, the placement rate recorded during BDS placements 2023 was 100%. Earlier, the median package offered during Yenepoya Dental College BDS placements 2021 stood at INR 4.48 LPA. Besides, a total of 46 students out of 48 students were placed during BDS placements 2022.

There are a total of 100 seats in BDS course of Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital. Candidates are offered seat in BDS based on their NEET-UG score. The exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. Once selected, candidates are offered seat. Selected candidates can confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

The answer to this question depends on the course opted by the candidates. In case of BDS and MDS, aspirants must pass NEET-UG and NEET-PG, respectively. For all other courses, the selection is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. During the counselling, the seats in BDS and MDS courses is allocated based on the ranks of the aspirants in the accepted entrance exam.
