According to the seat matrix released for the CENTAC NEET UG counselling last year, the total number of MBBS seats offered were 1,830. On the other hand, the total number of BDS seats offered was 200. The course-wise intake may change this year. The actual number of seats for CENTAC NEET 2024 counselling will be updated here as and when it will be announced by the counselling authorities through the seat matrix.

The bond amount varies from state to state and college to college For example , in the case of private dental colleges, you will have to pay the entire amount of the whole duration of BDS course while in government dental colleges, in general the bond amount is of 5 lakhs if you leave the BDS course in between without completing it , again it may vary from state to state. So, I would suggest you to take admission in BDS only if you want to complete it, because if you leave in between then in this case you will waste a BDS seat and will have to pay Bond amount as well.

Punjab has some top private colleges for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). Notable ones include Christian Dental College in Ludhiana, which has a strong reputation. Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College in Ludhiana and Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences in Faridkot are also well-regarded. Additionally, Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences & Research in Bathinda and Rayat Bahra University in Mohali offer good programs.
