The last rank that got admission in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at MGM Dental College and Hospital in 2023 was based on the NEET MDS cut off percentile, which was 18.193 for General and EWS category, 8.193 for SC/ST/OBC category, and 13.193 for General and EWS - PH category. Yes, it is worth pursuing MDS from SGT University. The university has been ranked #42 by India Today in 2023 under the Dentral ranking category. Moreover, the starting salary and pay scales are also high as well as it gets better with time for the MDS graduates. Further, MDS student can also opt for the teaching profession and simultaneously do private practice. Many private dental colleges offer an MDS student the position of a lecturer.

SGT University MDS placements report has not been released as of now. However, as per the university past years' placement records, the median package offered to MDS graduates stood at INR 6 LPA. Moreover, out of 43 students, 42 were placed in the 2021 placements drive.

The university admit candidates to the PG programme based on merit in NEET MDS/NEET-PG. Candidates with a valid exam score are selected and seats are allotted through a centralised counselling process. Apart from this, it is necessary that aspirant hold a valid BDS degree to become eligible for admission in this course. The eligible candidates can apply by completing the application process. In addition, the admission form is made available online and can be collected from the university admission office as well.

Yes, SGT University offer admission to NEET-qualified candidates in the MDS programmes. Hence, the aspirants need to have a valid score of NEET MDS. There is no other provision for selection to the PG programmes. Candidates with the required score in the exam have to further go through a centralised counselling procedure for seat allotment.
