A candidate with 380 marks in NEET may find admission to BDS programs challenging but not impossible. The cut-off marks for BDS will vary by college, category (General, OBC, SC/ST), and no. of applicants. Cutoff marks for BDS for the government college can be even above 500-600 or more, in general.

It is not easy to gain admission in MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences; NEET MDS scores should be quite good for that as it is a highly competitive examination. Seats are limited, and one has to depend on the performance in the entrance exam for admission. Children of army personnel do get some reservation in a quota, but to secure a seat, one still has to perform well academically and score high in NEET MDS. In case, choices are made for some popular specializations, then the competition becomes tougher, but overall, it is quite feasible for the right contender.
