Yes, the whole process of the Maharashtra State Counselling NEET UG 2024 is held online. Candidates have to register and declare choices on the official website. Apart from MBBS and BDS, the admission to courses such as BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BSMS are also conducted through Maharashtra NEET counselling. While the registration, choice filling, seat allotment and seat resgination processes are done online, the institute reporting or final admission process is conducted in offline mode, wherein candidates have to visit the allotted institutes physically to complete the admission process.

However, admission to the BDS course is based on the NEET scores, and candidates must have cleared the HSC examination with not less than 45% marks. For the NEET Counselling BC category, the overall cutoff rank is 96714. It’s important to participate in the Punjab NEET counselling to secure a seat in the BDS programme at Adesh University.

While pursuing BDS at the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU can be considered relatively affordable compared to other institutes. The total tuition fee for the entire five-year programme is INR 1.67 lakh, so the cost is reasonable. Besides, the return on investment seems good, considering the average salary of INR 15 LPA for BDS graduates. While individual financial circumstances may vary, the combination of reasonable tuition fees and earning potential means that pursuing BDS at IMS BHU may not be too inexpensive.
