BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the only approved and recognised professional dental course in India. It is an undergraduate degree of 5 years which trains students to enter the noble profession of dental Science and surgery. It is considered one of the most popular and pursued courses after MBBS in India. The minimum percentage required is 50% in Class XII with NEET qualification is necessary for BDS admission. Currently, there are more than 300 dental colleges in India with around 26,000 seats, in both government and private universities. Previously like NEET 2016, students got IMS BHU with a score of 575+ but now the scenario has changed I didn't get IMS BHU even at 589 with the OBC category via All India quota in NEET 2017. So for IMS BHU try to get 640+ this decent score can let you join IMS BHU. This college is preferred by students cause it has an internal reservation of 50% in post-graduate courses. All the best.

Also depends on your 12th subject, interest and finance. Paramedical, Law, management, traditional courses, the list is vast. I suggest you to go for career counselling before taking a decision or choice a field which is job oriented as well as interest you.
