As of now there is no special criteria regarding previous academic qualifications by the college, but the companies visiting for internships/placements may have their own criteria on the basis of which they shortlist students. These criteria by companies keep on changing without any prior notice.

The cut off for OBC category at DFS is between 80-85 percentile.

Academic scores dont effect your selection. You will get select on the basis of your CAT score and your GDPI score. You need to score atleast 95 percentile in CAT to get admission in DFS.

Yes it is totally worth to join DFS after being from a engineer background, infact 80% of my classmates are from engineering background. It is not that difficult to study finance from DFS.

The annual college fees is Rs.12,761/-, examination fees is around Rs.1500/- per semester. Hostel and mess fees is around Rs.40-45000/ per year. Other than all this there is a student society fees which is around Rs.40,000/- per year if you want to join it. So the total expenditure that will incur at DFS in around Rs.2-2.5 Lakhs for 2 years which includes student society fees.
