Hi Priyanka, last year general cutoff was 93.XX and as the CAT score weightage is 75% in the merit list a lot depends upon your CAT score. So above 94 you have good chances for DFS. If you have applied for DBE as well then you have good chances because DBE's cutoff is 90 percentile.

Hi Meet,
Mathematics is a prerequisite for admission in DFS. There is no condition for statistics as such.

Hi Simran, the two courses are MBA financial management in DFS and MBA Business Economics in DBE. The basic difference between these two courses is that MBA-FM is all about finance you will get to know every aspect about finance and in MBA-BE you will study about applications of econometrics and statistics in various fields including finance. The kind of roles given in DFS is related to finance like financial analyst, financial operations, credit analyst etc. And in MBA BE you will get analyst profiles in the analytics industry. Main companies in DFS are ICRA, SBI Cap, JLL etc. And in DBE EXL, Dunhumby etc.

Hi Abhishek, even if you have less score in academics you CAT score will be very important because it has 60% weightage in the final selection. So if you get over 96 percentile it will be good.

Hi Shubham, I hope you are talking about post graduation course(MBA) as DFS is only for masters. For that matter, yes you are eligible to apply for a DFS if you have mathematics in your 12th standard.

Hi Soumya, although there is no sufficient score to join any college as many other factors are involved in the selection but anything above 95-96 will give you an edge over others.
