The calls last year were profile based, so even students with percentile's in the eighties were able to make through the campus. Prepare well for interviews, as they would be key for getting selected into campus.

Well, it is a myth that freshers do not have or have very less chance against the people with work experience. In some colleges there might be some points to be awarded for people with work experience, but I can assure you that most of the colleges including those that give weight to work experience have enough freshers in their batches and they enjoy special privileges for various opportunities being freshers.
The only thing is that for many interviews while calculating the composite score some colleges award extra marks for the candidates with work experience but freshers can cover those marks by performing good in interviews and sec

The only eligibility for CAT is to have a graduation degree or pursuing one. So I hope you are eligible for that.
PS there is a whole document on the CAT site where eligibility criteria is elaborated in detail you can refer to that for further assurance.

It might be hard for you in some colleges. But in colleges where reservation is there you might have a shot. But getting a good CAT score will boost your profile. So Yes, performing very good in CAT will definitely take you to colleges GD/PI.

The cut off for the general category has been hovering around 95% for the last few years. The graduation scores were given a weight-age in calculating the overall performance grade of the candidates, but this is subject to change every year. You can expect a cut off along similar lines as well.

It is not possible to predict the CAT score that one should score to secure admission in DMS since the admissions are based on profile also along with CAT hence cumulative score is what matters rather than individual components.
