The B.FTech programme has a total intake of 591 seats.This includes, 542 All-India and 49 state-domicile.Note that admission to the programme is based on GAT scores only. B.FTech applicants aren't required to appear in the CAT and Situation Test. The B.FTech programme offers an specialisation in the Apparel Production (Andhra Pradesh) programme. A total of 18 National Institutes of Fashion Technologies will participate in the NIFT 2024 admission process. The participating institutes offer B. Des, M.Des B.FTech M.FTech and MFM courses. Admission to these courses offered by these institutes will be based on NIFT 2023 scores. The participating institutes of NIFT 2024 offer a combined intake of 5,215 seats. The NIFT 2024 will not be sent to the candidate by email or post. Instead, the candidate has to download the admit card from the admission portal of the National Institute of Fashion technology. To download the admit card, click on the admit card download link and log-in by entering your log-in credentials. The candidate needs to take a printout of the admit card after downloading it. Note that on the day of the exam, the candidate will need a photo id proof to go with the admit card. Without admit cards, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the NIFT 2024 exam.

The details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the NIFT admit card. For instance, the NIFT 2024 admit card will contain the name and address of the exam. In addition, the admit card will also contain the timings of the exam, and at time the candidate needs to report to the NIFT exam centre. NIFT admit card 2024 is a mandatory document to appear in the design entrance exam. Candidates need to positively carry their valid admit card for NIFT Entrance Exam to their test centre, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the design entrance exam. Note that the security personnel at the exam centre will check the documents carried by the candidate, including the admit and photo id cards. In fact, the candidate must safely preserve the admit card until the admission process is over. It is because the candidate may be asked to produce the admit card during the counseing and seat-allotment process.
