If you are in an English medium school, and practice a few comprehensions here and there, you can easily ace the English Comprehension section. For General Knowledge & Current Affairs section, I would ask you to read any national daily every day. Most questions in this section will be related to the fashion industry. For Analytical Ability, solve any book containing Analytical Questions. Questions are very basic. Communication Ability should be a walk in the park if you are decent at English. There is no need to practice any book for this section either. For Quantitative Ability, you can practice a book by R. S. Aggarwal. Though I feel

Your campus will depend on the rank you will get after clearing the entrance exam. There won't be any direct benefits but if you are interested in fashion designing, NIFT has the best colleges in India. Although chances will be limited and getting admission will be a tough competition because seats are limited. Rest, wish you luck. Hope it helps!

Go through last few years' paper of NID Entrance Exam or get sample papers from internet and try to solve. If you are able to score well or you can do preparation on your own, then it is okay or else join coaching institute.

Hi,
I'm not getting which NIFT you are talking about as there is NIFT in Gandhinagar, not Gandhidham. So, Gandhinagar NIFT has a total of 239 seats.
