Exam officials will make the necessary arrangements through the test centre administrator (TCA) of the examination centre to provide a panel of scribes (amanuenses). Only such candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for scribe services.Scribes will be students of Class XI. The PwD/Dyslexic (severe) candidate has to choose a scribe from this panel. The candidates are not be allowed to bring their own scribes.

If the candidate wishes to avail the services of a scribe and compensatory time, the same should be mentioned in the UCEED 2025 application form. The candidate is eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in Part A and 20 minutes for Part B.But note that the compensatory time for Part-A cannot be transferred to Part-B and vice versa.Upload the PwD certificate along with such requests in the given format.

The candidate will receive a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in Part A and 20 minutes for Part B. The compensatory time for Part-A cannot be transferredto Part-B and vice versa.The candidate must go through the detailed guidelines for using a scribe services given in the information brochure.

The use of a scribe can be used by the candidate under the following conditions: candidates who have a disability and require assistance in operating the computer for Part-A of the examinationThe candidate has to upload d a copy of the PwD certificate at the time of online registration for UCEED 2025.

Yes, the candidate may have to pay the service charges, processing fees and/or any other charges that the banks may charge when filling out the UCEED 2025 application form. Note that this in addition to the application fee.Also, if the candidate doesn't complete the application process by October 2024, they will have to pay a late fee of INR to apply between November 1 and 8, 2024.

The IITs will not conduct any spot rounds after the completion of the regular counseling rounds. UCEED 2025 counseling will be conducted as a Joint Admission Process. The counseling will have five seat-allotment rounds. Meanwhile, IITDM Jabalpur may conduct a spot round of admissions at the institutional level if there are any vacant seats after completion of the UCEED counselling.

To be considered for seat allocation, foreign national candidates must have an All India Rank (AIR) and meet all the eligibility requirements meant for an OPEN category candidate.UCEED seat allotment for foreign nationals will be held after the completion of seat allocation to all the Indian national candidates (in the same round). A seat in an institute will be allotted to a foreign national candidate if their rank is the same or better than the closing rank of the OPEN category candidate in that academic program, subject to the 10% cap on seats mentioned above, in the order of merit.

There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-category for females in the foreign national supernumerary seats. So, female and male candidates will be treated as the same. The candidate is urged to consult the UCEED 2025 information brochure for the detailed admission process for foreign nationals. Note that the eligibility criteria for UCEED 2025 will be different for foreign nationals from Indian applicants.

Foreign national or candidates are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the GENEWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD categories / sub-categories. So, they will be considered for admission to the B.Des program under open category.Also, foreign nationals will only be considered for admission to supernumerary with a cap of 10% of total seats in each course.Applicants under this category need to verify their eligibility before applying.

Candidates need to appear for the written tests consisting of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the Institute. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Situation Test.
