Common merit rank unless you belong to a special category (any category other than general).

You have to fill the application form after that there will be an entrance exam.
First there will be CAT and GAT. If you crack both of them then you will be called for the 2nd round.
After these rounds you will be shortlisted for the PI.

Nift is best known for any designing coarses incase u can't get into Nift then U can go for other options.

After completing your web designing course, you can work in a web designing company or you can work as a freelancer. There are thousands of companies that hire web developer for their front end and back end web development projects. Also, you can work independently as a web designer and set up your own enterprise.

The courses offered by NIFT are full time courses. You will not be able to manage your studies with your job. You will only be able to pursue a course from NIFT if you give up your job as fashion courses are demanding and require full time dedication.

M.Sc in Fashion Designing: Admission/Selection Process:
Applicants should apply for an entrance examination conducted by the university/Institute, comprising of:
General Aptitude Test
Creative Ability Test
Comprehension of English
Eligibility for M.Sc. In Fashion Designing:
B.A or any other equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks. Some of the very reputed universities and institutes conduct entrance examination to get admission to the degree course.

Admission to B.Des and M.Des shall be finalised on the basis of the performance of a student in the entrance test comprising of Practical Test, Written Test, Workshop and Personal Interview.

A) Drawing Skills
B) Colour Skills
C) 3D Modelling
D) Design Skills
Written Test
Written Test would consist of English Language Proficiency, Understanding of Visual Arts, Culture, Design and Craft
