Candidates should have passed in 10+2 qualifying examination from a recognised state or national board of education
Candidates passed from public University/ School/ Board examination in India or Foreign countries must be recognised under Association of Indian Universities as per 10+2 pattern of education
Candidates must have studied a minimum of five main subjects under National Open School Examination
Candidates holding diploma under 10+3 or 10+4 pattern as recognised by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) or State Board of Technical Education

CAT exam, based on toppers view. Initially, you have to prepare for three months like quants, etc. Later, prefer coaching institutes like TIMES, IMS and Career Launcher. Finally, solve old question papers of CAT. Improve your problem-solving skills.

NIFT-Delhi should be on your list as it is ranked one of the best design schools in India. If you cannot make it to the NIFT. I am afraid you don't have many options to choose from. As per me, you explore some international schools who have opened their campus in India. There are few schools from Italy and France who have their campus in Bangalore and other cities.

There is no difference of fee for any category, they only have a reservation in the allotment of seats.

There is no fee concession, but you can apply for NIFT Means cum Merit Financial Assistance Scheme. NIFT offers limited subsidies to meritorious students, who are in need of financial assistance as per the provisions made in Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scheme.
The availability of financial assistance under this scheme cannot be assured. Students who are interested in availing this facility should submit their application along with parental income certificate and contact the Student Development Activity Coordinator (SDAC) at their campus after admission.
