Bachelor in Fashion Technology is a course unique to NIFT. It was earlier known as Garment Manufacturing Technology(GMT) course. After graduation, you can get jobs such as Floor Manager, Merchandiser, Supervisor etc. You may join traditional Apparel/Textiles companies such as Madura, Reliance, ADEL etc. Or you can join the newer age fashion companies such as Myntra, Amazon etc. You may have a dive in the Start-Up boom of India by floating your own start-up. Scope is vast and it depends on individuals, as to what they want to achieve and what are their priorities.

NIFT is better as it is centralized and centres doesn't really matter. placement is centralized hence your pay package would be better if NIFT.

you should really go for art and designing then. Do not take science subjects if not interested. I myself am a Science student and I regret taking it. I will be joining Nift or any designing college soon.

Give NIFT entrance. Prepare well for it and choose a course of your choice. Nift is public and gives a lot scope. All the best.

Dear Tanmay,
There is a lot of difference from National institute of Fashion Designing and Institute of Hotel Management. The institutes offer completely different courses and thus, there is no comparison between them.
