The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the official schedule at - niftadmissions. The schedule will include the event-wise dates related to the NIFT 2024 entrance exam. This incudes the release of the NIFT 2024 application form, application last date (with regular and late fees), written exam date, declaration of results, etc.Alternatively, the candidate can follow this page to stay updated about NIFT 2024 exam.The NIFT 2024 application form is expected to commence in November 2023. Meanwhile, the written exams - GAT and CAT - are expected to be conducted in the 1st week of February 2024.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology revised the syllabus for the NIFT 2024 exam. The revised syllabus was outlined in the NIFT 2024 admission prospectus.The exam conducting body had revised the syllabus and pattern for the B.Des and B.F.Tech programs. However, no changes in the syllabus and pattern was made to the PG courses.cUnder the revised format, the Communication and English comprehension for the B.Des program will include a total of 40 questions. Previously, 50 questions were asked, 25 each from each section.So, candidates appearing in the B.Des and B.F.Tech courses need to follow the updated pattern.

A. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2024 answer key around the 4th week of February 2024. The question paper for NIFT 2024 will also be released alongside the answer key. Candidates will also able to challenge the answer key and question paper on payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 500 (per observation/objection). The feedback given by the candidate against the draft key is used by exam officials to prepare the final keys. The final answer key will containthe correct and official keys for questions asked in the NIFT exam.

NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) provides an opportunity to candidates who have completed their Diploma in relevant or related fields of Design & Technology for direct admission to the third semester of UG programmes of NIFT. Eligible candidates have to appear in the NIFT 2025 entrance exam to get lateral admission.
