To be eligible for the B.Des programme at ISDI School of Design and Innovation in Mumbai, candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. There is no restriction on the stream of study at the 10+2 level.The key eligibility criteria are:Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognised board such as CBSE, ISC, etc.There are no restrictions on the stream of study at the 10+2 level. Students from any discipline - arts, commerce or Science - can apply.The minimum qualifying marks vary for different categories. For general category candidates, the minimum marks required is 50%. For reserved category candidates, the minimum marks requirement is lower.Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.

Both ISDI School of Design and Innovation and International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) Andheri are reputed institutes for design education in Mumbai. However, there is a significant difference in their course fees.ISDI Fees StructureISDI offers UG, PG and PG Diploma courses in design.The total fees for the 4-year UG Diploma programme is around ?25 lakhs. The annual fees is ?6.5 lakhs.The 11-month PG programme fees is ?6.05 Lacs per year.The total fees for the 2-year PG Diploma course is around ?10.5 lakhs.INIFD Andheri Fees StructureINIFD offers diploma, advanced Diploma and degree programs in fashion, interior and graphic design.The total fees for the 3-year Diploma programme is around ?5 lakhs. To get admission into ISDI School of Design & Innovation Mumbai, candidates have to appear for the ISDI Challenge. The ISDI Challenge comprises: Design Aptitude Test (DAT),  Personal Interview and Portfolio ReviewStudents are selected for admission based on their combined performance in these components of the ISDI Challenge. There are no specific cut-off scores, but higher scores improve the chances of admission.The Design Aptitude Test evaluates the candidate's:Creative ability,  Graphic skills,  Spatial visualization and Knowledge of design fundamentalsIt contains questions from:Visual arts,  Design concepts,  General knowledge and Logical and analytical reasoningThe DAT is followed by a personal interview where candidates have to present and discuss their portfolio. This evaluates their design thinking process, creativity, communication skills and passion for design. There is no minimum scores disclosed for the ISDI Challenge. But in previous years, candidates with: DAT score above 75% and Good portfolio and Interview performance has secured admission.
