Automobile design industry is one of the highest paying sectors in India. A fresher can start anything between 3.5 Lacs to 8.5 Lacs per annum and with experience the package can raise up to 24 Lacs per annum. Apart from the automobile manufacturing industry, an automotive designer can also seek employment in multimedia movie production and ad development team for designing various sports and hi-tech car models used in most of the movies today. Jewellery Designing is a profession with great scope in India and abroad. The pay packet varies according to qualification, experience and skills. At the initial stage, a trainee jewellery designer can expect a salary of Rs 7,000-Rs 8,000 per month. With experience, they would be paid a sum of Rs. 18,000 to 20,000 per month. In retail stores, one can work on a commission basis and depending upon the organisation and their talent, they would be paid extremely well. The earnings of a freelance designer depends upon the designer's creative skill and how successful they are in selling their work. A typical freelance jewellery designer can make anywhere between Rs.10,000 to Rs.30,000 a month.

Pearl academy-Noida and Jaipur both are considered the best design institutes among the list of private design colleges. Of course, pearl has a good placement cell and most of the students are recruited for jobs. Apart from jobs and placements, it has good facilities in terms of architecture, tools, labs, hostels and much more. I would say it's the perfect academy for fashion design except for the fee structure. Since the total fee structure is really high for even a high-middle class student, most students try to go for government colleges. But if the fee is affordable, which is like a crore or so for a 4-year graduation programme, it's a good option with a good scope in fashion designing.
