Education, real-world experience and a dedication to developing a solid portfolio are all necessary to become an exhibition designer. You need to get a degree in exhibition design, interior design, architecture or a similar discipline to begin with. You also need to gain expertise with design tools and compile a portfolio that highlights your originality and exhibition space creation skills. Getting hands-on experience is necessary by applying for internships or entry-level jobs in event management, design or museums.
