Yes, candidates can get admission for BDes at KSOU without any entrance exam. As per the eligibility criteria, the selection of the candidates is based on the last qualifying exam. However, the university has not specified that the applicants have to appear for any entrance exam. Additionally, it is advisable to review the preset eligibility criteria before applying for the BDes course at KSOU.

Yes, there's a set of optional subjects offered to B Des students that they can choose from and study along with their specialisation subjects. Some of the common BDes optional subjects include Mobility and Vehicle Design, Universal Design, Design of Medical Equipment, Graphics and Animation, Interaction Design, Videography and Filmmaking, and Typography.

Currently, Sri University has not released the commencement date of the BDes new session. However, according to the information available on the official website of the university- the commencement of final admissions for the BDes course begins on July 1, 2025 onwards. So, candidates can anticipate that classes will start a few days after the final admission's commencement.

The admission portal of Sri University for the BDes course is currently open candidates can also register themselves for the SSU CET entrance examination. Additionally, If candidates have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result is awaited, they can apply provisionally and go through the admission process. Hence, candidates can apply now for admission to BDes at SSU.

The selection process for the BDes course at Sri University includes a valid score in the SSU CET exam followed by counselling. However, to appear in the SSU CET exam, candidates are required to fill out the university's admission form and must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria that state candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum score of 50%.

The total tuition fee of BDes at Sri University is INR 5.2 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case,  a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time,  his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also be required to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The hostel fee for BDes students at SSU is INR 4.67 lakh. The fee amount mentioned is sourced from the official website/sanctioning body and is subject to change. Therefore, it is indicative.
