The candidate must pass Intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from a board that is recognised by the government, such as CBSE, ISC, the UK Board, or another board. The JEE, UKSEE, or state government recognised engineering entrance test rank is required for admission.

The mess and cafeteria provide high-quality cuisine, which speaks highly of the hostel's excellence. Mess and cooking setup are hygienic, and meal quality and taste are adequate. The canteen offers a selection of cuisine. The cuisine is wonderful, savoury, and sanitary at Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology.

At Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, the CGPA computation is based on the SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) calculation. Calculating the SGPA is done as follows: SGPA is calculated as (CixGPi) / Ci, where Ci is the number of credits for a course and GPi is the student's grade. The student must maintain a CGPA of 7.0, 75% annual attendance, no back papers, UFM, or indiscipline cases in order to keep the scholarship.
