To be eligible for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad’s BTech programme, a candidate needs to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75 per cent aggregate. However, those who are under the top 20 percentile of their board are also eligible to apply.

IIT Dharwad has a total of 22 seats available for M.Tech programmes, which includes two additional seats designated for supernumerary candidates. On the other hand, for BTech programs, there are a total of 310 seats, as mentioned in the data derived from JoSAA 2022. This BTech seat intake includes provisions for female supernumerary candidates, allowing for greater diversity and representation in the programme.

As of my last update in September 2021, Dharwad Agricultural University, officially known as the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (UASD), conducts its own entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to agriculture, horticulture, and allied sciences. The entrance exam conducted by UASD is called the Common Entrance Test (CET) for Agriculture.Since the university conducts its own entrance exam (CET) for admissions, the CUET score (if it stands for Christ University Entrance Test) may not be directly applicable for admission to Dharwad Agricultural University.

IIT Dharwad offers M.Tech in two specialisations namely Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering The students pursuing M.Tech can upgrade their course to a PhD after completing two years. Admission to this programme is dependent on the scores achieved in the GATE exam followed by COAP Counselling.

To be eligible for the BTech course at IIT Dharwad, you must have passed your Class 12 exams with a minimum aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.Take the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam is the first step in the admission process for BTech at IIT Dharwad. You must score a minimum qualifying percentile in the JEE Main exam to be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.

To apply for IIT Dharwad admission, candidates must submit their application online. The application process and fee for M.Tech courses is different than for other courses. The total tuition fee of the BTech programme at IIT Dharwad for the BTech programme is INR 8 lakh. This fee does not include the hostel fee or the mess fee and only consists of the total cost of tuition. The fee mentioned here is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIT Dharwad candidates need Class 12 with 75%. Aspiring candidates need to clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced to get admission to the BTech programme at IIT Dharwad.
