Yes, you can get admission into IITs with a rank of 15k in JEE Advanced. However, you will probably not get admission in top 7 IITs and in the branches which are the favourites of the most people. But indeed you can get admission into IITs with such a rank as well.

IIT Dharwad will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Advanced round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank is 13177 and the closing rank is 14308 for the General category under the All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile or home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19087 and 19087. For 2022, cut off was 897 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 2309 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Dharwad - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 1848 for OBC, 1119 for SC, 485 for ST, 719 for EWS, 180 for PWD. While the admissions were based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 7611 and 8272. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Dharwad - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
