There is a huge waiting list for DA-IICT and you need to check every day for your waiting list question to get updated and if you forget even one day, you'll miss everything, your seat will be gone. Hope this answers your question. :)

There are two branches. One is ICT, and the other is ICT+minors in Computational Science. You can register for admission and depending on your overall rank; you will get ICT or ICT+CS.
For admission through GUJCET, you need to score minimum 98% in boards and above 110 in GUJCET. Your overall rank should be in top 250.
I have taken admission through JEE Mains and my all India rank was 10015 and I got admission in ICT.

RVCE: 1
VIT: 2
DAIICT: 3.
RV College of Engineering focuses on each and every student of every branch and that's the reason they have limited number of seats in each branches. Bangalore is the IT capital so most of the students prefer computer Science as the 1st priority, but seeing There teaching methodology you can take any branch as per your interest and you will be in safe hands. R. V. College of Engineering was set up in the year 1963 spread over 51.4 acres on the banks of the Vrishabhavati River in Bangalore. The autonomous institution is affiliated to Visvesvarya Technological University and is approved by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi.

Talking about DAIICT, Google does not visit for on-campus recruitment. Top companies that visit are- Amazon, Sprinklr, Microsoft, Direct etc. The highest package for the year 2017-18 is 29.3 LPA. Visit the following site for more information- http://placement.daiict.ac.in/home/placementStatistics
In the case of RV college, Google does not visit there for on-campus recruitment either. Maximum package offered is 10.5 LPA. Visit the following site for detailed information- https://rvce.edu.in/cv-Placements
I would say DAIICT has got the better package but RV college has more number of students placed. So the decision is upon you.

The actual course is ICT- information and communication technology and I assume you are thinking the minor in CS to be computer Science. A minor is an addition to the main branch you are studying and you will have to take a couple of courses extra than general ICT students and in DA CS is Computational Science, not computer Science. I being a DA student and knowing about my friends in NITs and other reputed colleges would tell you to prefer DA over NITs because you have given a choice between computer or circuits based branches in your future which makes me guess that you are not sure between the two and when you join DA, the course is

The cut-off ranks for DAIICT have ranged around 10-12k for ICT and a max of 5k for CS. This marks the scores on the lines of 170-180 for ICT and 220+ for CS. The cut-off ranks for PEC 2017 are here-

No, doubt it is DAIICT, which is best because it will give you the best placements and academics than MSU.
