As per IDA the following is the minimum qualification requirements.A PG Diploma or degree which covers subjects like nutrition, dietetics, food science, physiology, nutritional biochemistry and so on. So B.Tech food technology is eligible for IDA exam.

Following is the eligibility criteria for the course
Minimum of 18 years
Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
The student should not suffer from any chronic illness.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for dietitian course. But you must have biology as a main subject in your class 12th.

Eligibility Criteria-
B.Sc. Degree in Home Science, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Quality Control and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc.Nursing, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, BHMS, BAMS and any related subjects. The candidates should have completed the undergraduate programme with not less than 55% marks.
