Dietitian

For Dietitians are experts in nutrition Science, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in nutrition, or a closely related field, to get started in your career. Earn a degree from a programme accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. If you are interested in becoming a registered dietitian, look for a Didactic programme in Dietetics (DPD). This format will prepare you for a required dietetics internship and results in a Bachelors degree in nutrition.

There are 4 steps:-
1. Complete a Bachelor's degree and receive a verification statement from an ACEND-accredited programme (Didactic programme in Dietetics).
2. Get matched to an ACEND-accredited supervised practice dietetic internship programme (some dietetic internships are combined with a master's degree, which is optional*). For students who do not match to an internship, applying to an Individual Supervised Practice Pathway is an option.
3. Pass the Commission on Dietetic Registration's dietetic registration exam.
4. Gain licensure in your state of practice, if applicable.

Depending upon your interest, you can choose to go for a job such as:
Product Development, Quality assurance and control, Production etc. If you are interested to study, you can opt for a Masters study in various fields such as
Dairy Science, Brewing Science, production t innovation etc. At various universities all over the world. Also, business makes up a good option depending on the country for students of Food Science.

You need to apply online and thereafter you need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Admission is through counseling based on the marks obtained in Entrance Test.

There are many job opportunities available in government and private sector. Nutritionists or dieticians may build a career in the following sectors-R&D (Research and Development), Healthcare sector (hospitals, clinics, health centres, etc.), government schemes and organizations, NGOs, and teaching and eucation sector.

Placement in 5 star hotels like JW Marriott, Taj Hotels, Radisson Blu, The Lalit, etc. are there.

To be a dietician, one needs to have an understand and qualification in biology, anatomy, food Science, Psychology and biochemistry that is atleast one or two life Science subject. I don't think you will be eligible with a B.A. Degree without any knowledge of how human body works. If you have you can check country and university specific admission requirements and proceed.
