Diploma

To be eligible for admission in the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) or the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), candidates need to meet specific educational qualifications. For instance, for the 3-year Post Graduate Diploma Programme at FTII, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent. Additionally, candidates appearing for the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Similarly, for the 3-year UG Certificate course in Animation & Visual Effects Design at FTII, candidates should possess an H.S.C or Diploma of a minimum 2 years after S.S.C from a government-recognized board or equivalent. Therefore, completion of a 2-year Diploma in animation and VFX or a 2 or 3-year Diploma in filmmaking may not fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to these institutes.
